I met the patient once before at the house of my colleague. As a professional nurse, I understand and I knew that I am responsible in establishing and maintaining professional boundary to the patient and to his respective significant others. I knew that I should give him the same and fair treatment as what I am giving and rendering to my other clients. I acknowledged and recognized that we knew each other but I made sure that I am aware of my boundaries and my role and function as his health care provider.
