Dear Prime Minister Borden, I am writing today to address how the new policy of conscription is affecting my family and I. I do not agree with the rule of conscription because of the impact it will have on families all over this country of ours. At a time like this, Canadians are patriotic and we want to do what we can to help the war effort. In this regard, there are many men that can be sent to war, however, I strongly disagree with conscription because of how unfair and irresponsible it is to send all young men ages 20-45 off to fight for our country. In the case of my family, which has financial means, we have donated significantly to the cause to help the war and families
