I would hope to learn tools to help me have a more beneficial outlook on situations and execute my problems with a more systematic approach.

I would love to learn more about the environmental effects and benefits nature has on not only our physical body, but our spiritual mind as well as the aspects of our identity it generates.

I picked this workshop because I understand an overwhelming majority of people are affected by anxiety and depression. I would hope to learn the basics of conditions that impact people’s daily lives, learn ways to treat the problem, and examine factors that elevate the disorder.

Seif, PhD, Anxiety and Phobia Treatment Center of White Plains, NY I selected this workshop because I know many people that seem to be on an endless cycle of worrying that impacts their perspective on life. I hope to learn about the triggers of subtle forms of OCD and how one must learn to accept the condition and enjoy the uncertainty of life rather than question it.

Suicide Assessment and Intervention Training for Mental Health Professionals lead by Lawerence Berkowitz, EdD, MPA, Riverside Trauma Center, Needham, MA; Rebecca Mirick, PhD, MSW, Salem State University School of Social Work I was enticed by this workshop because I notice that suicide seems to be a very prevalent issue affecting people and their families everywhere and having a very negative impact on society. I would aim to learn about the warning signs to prevent other cases of suicide, while learning the most beneficial ways to intervene.
