The most compelling theory is that Otzi had stolen the copper axe as it was off great importance as he was part of the copper age and was hunted and killed because of his actions. This theory is so as it covers and explains all the evidence we have found. This theory is supported by evidence such as that the copper axe which was so important as Otzi was part of the copper age so most people would want the axe. My theory states that Otzi wanted the copper axe so he stole it from another clan and ran away where no one could find him which was the alps, but little did he know the clan found out he took it so they sent one of their hunters to kill Otzi, so they followed him up the mountain and were able to get a clear shot of his back. I strongly agree with this part of the theory because when Otzi was found on the mountain all his weapons were layed out in front of him and the arrow was taken out off his back mainly to make people think it was a ceremonial burial he also suffered from head trauma and hand scares this is why I have chosen this theory because it states a lot of evidence. I most definitely feel that this part of my theory is vital as all my theories are true as they have very strong evidence involved. I strongly believe that the most compelling theory is that after Otzi was shot and dragged up the mountain the axe was taken off him and hidden under the snow so no one could see it. the evidence to back up my theory is that after he was shot the axe was taken off him and hidden because if the hunter came back with the axe everyone would know what they had done so they hid the axe under the snow but after when the investigators found the body the snow had melted and the axe was seen. Over all I strongly believe that the iceman was hunted for the axe which was then hidden so there was not any trace off the
