Thesis: Core Knowledge Written Assignment The healthcare field is a broad field which entails a variety of disciplines related to maintaining as well as improving the health of humans. That said, the industry is bound to face issues in regard to its functions and processes. The issues I have selected to discuss their importance are the exploration of the impacts of meaningful data on health care systems and the role of data analytics in quality and performance improvement efforts. This essay delves into two critical issues found within healthcare, such as the impact of meaningful data on health care systems and the role of data analytics in quality and performance improvement efforts. As technological advances are being seen repeatedly in healthcare, ensuring that meaningful and analytical data is being implemented efficiently and effectively in patient care is crucial. According to Ana Neves and Jako Burgers with National Library of Medicine (2022), digital health is the convergence of digital technologies with health, healthcare, living, and society. Overall, this validates that ensuring meaningful data is being implemented and validated within healthcare, along with data analytics, plays a role in quality and performance improvements. Harnessing data for healthcare excellence can be viewed as a dual perspective due to highlighted issues.
