There are many stress factors for a criminal defense attorney. They have to balance their stresses of working long and hard hours with their client's stresses and attachments to the case, all while trying to uphold a good reputation. This can be emotionally draining and hard for a lawyer to do their job. Although there are many challenges for a criminal defense attorney, there are also many benefits. The three joys that I focused on are the sense of reward from community service, intellectual and physical stimulation, and connections. According to H.
