In my opinion, different generations working together and having differences cause additional stress for professionals in the criminal justice organizations because team members and leaders have different expectations for each generation. To lower the stress levels among criminal justice professionals, leaders must create innovative ways for an inclusive workplace where diversity and individual differences are valued, respected, and ideas are welcomed by team members and leaders to achieve the shared mission of the criminal justice organization. Leaders should also create a working environment that promotes collaboration among team members, inspires engagement, open communication, conflict resolution training, and employee assistance programs
