The articles raised problematic issues about measuring critical thinking. Tilbury et al. (2010) article questioned the reliability of the tests. It was difficult to take an accurate measurement of a specific skill set when critical thinking skills overlap. Also, the grading process is less reliable because the scoring is time-consuming. Similarly, Mathias (2014) article questions the validity of critical thinking measurements. The article talked about an assessment that measured critical thinking among students. There were two study groups which each group discussed different topics. The same survey given to both groups and the results to similar.
