Curfews can act as a means of safety. Having the leisure of freely roaming can bring on irresponsibility. The youth should only be able to attend school, participate in extracurricular activities, and come home. If allowed reign over these events, children will begin to stray from the schedule, and thus jeopardize their safety. The only way to ensure their safety is by maintaining a strict schedule.
