“Meko you need to get up you have a game, it's 10:00 and your games at 1:00. Get ready.” Mekos mom yelled to him.
“But mom I don't like basketball. I suck everyone knows that” Meko says.
Meko got ready because he knew his mom will make him go anyway. When they got into the car they were silent and didn't talk all they way to the school. They got to the game and everyone was staring at Meko. A 6”1” High School student walked into the school ready to play.
The game started and they put Meko in as a start. The other team is like “ oh shit, I have to guard this dude.” But as the game actually started they saw that he couldn't caught a ball to save his life and he could shoot it always was either too short or way off. They other team won they score was 28-16.
After the game their captain wanted to talk to the team. They went into the locker room and talked. After they talked Meko went to find his mom and they got into the car. They were on there way home from the game and it was very snowy and the roads were not that great, They were very icy. You could tell that they had not plowed the road in a while. BAM!!! They get hit and they flipped and rolled off the road. It put both of them into the hospital. Meko had a broken arm, ankle, and a concussion. Meko was in the hospital for 2 days …show more content…
Meko’s team told him to try to shoot a 3 pointer. Meko did and it went in. The buzzer went off so the game could start. His coach put him in as a starter which never happened before. So the game starts and they give Meko the ball and the teams played this team before so they knew how meko played. When Meko got the ball he froze but when the player from the other team went after the ball. Meko faked him and shoot and scored. The player on the other team was confused like “Did he really just fake me? Did that really just happen? He sucked before and now he's good?
