David Goggins is a former Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and incredible ultra-endurance athlete whose life story and mindset have been a huge source of inspiration for me to push myself harder. When I first learned about Goggins a few years ago, I was immediately in awe of his ability to harness extraordinary mental toughness and relentless self-discipline to achieve the seemingly impossible. What captivated me most was Goggins' childhood. He grew up being brutalized and verbally abused by his father, enduring horrific racism in his hometown, and suffering from learning disabilities and obesity.
