People are always wanting more than they have, wanting bigger and better opportunities. Many people believe that they simply did not receive what they should of from God, they feel as if God gave all the good, lucky qualities to everyone but them, and they are willing to do everything in their power to destroy that person/object. Envy is present in the world in a variety of expressions, such as a person wanting what another person has because it is better than what they have, or because they do not have it. Another illustration of envy is taking advantage of another person because they are more talented, smarter, or better-looking. Cheating, stealing others possessions, putting someone down, and trying to embarrass, or make others look bad are all ways that people show how they are envious. People often steal others possessions because they want it, or think they need it, so they take it.
