The function of a hero is a person who can fight and prosper through times of conflict. A hero is someone who in the real world changes someone's life even by the simplest gestures. In the real world. The true heros are the average people who get up in the morning in search for the greater good in life. The person volunteering at a soup kitchen or homeless shelter is an act of heroism in real life. That man spares his time to help another person who has no other options and is in need.
The negation of a hero is when a person has a negative effect on someone or something. When a person commits a crime he may be changing a person's life but they are changing it the wrong way. Tristan Eugen Segers. From the article “ Soldier Home After Losing His Leg In Afghanistan” by Gale Fiege “ On Sept. 18, 2010, Army PFC. Tristan Eugen Segers… was driving his armored patrol vehicle when a homemade bomb exploded in the road underneath Segers’ floorboard… Just below his knee, Segers’ right leg was gone. He had shrapnel sticking out of his eyeballs,face and arms.” This man is a great example of a hero because he lost his leg and and sacrificed himself for his country.
