Within my own community and High School, you can find me in many organizations. Ranging from my local church youth group, anti-bullying organizations, student council to Varsity cheer captain. I’d like to think it’s easy to see my fingerprints placed all over this town. However, my aspirations are deeper than just trying to promote school spirit, or the representation of the student body. It is my ultimate goal to be a role model, a role model representing my found identity in the face of diversity. Certainly, not a poster child for perfection, or a synthetic copycat because those were false identities. I wanted to be my own completely authentic individual who was original not shaped by society. From that point on I decided to not conform to the world and its generalized stereotypes. I wanted to be a person who tried their very best to be themselves built on the fundamental base of kindness and individuality. If I can be a simple beacon of light in someone’s otherwise dim world, then I have achieved more in life than the richest
