I think that being a hero is someone who means a lot to you. Someone who you look up to. Someone that woudl help anyone if they needed it. when i see the word "HERO" I get reminded of someone in my life. My father is the closst thing to having a heroic person, every single day.
Even though its little things, he is the most courageous and noble person i know. IN the cold winter months, he makes sure our elders are okay. He plows their driveways even when he's not feeling well. He has a bad back and cannot lift, stand/sit too long and he still goes out of his way to help whoever needs it. Every spring when the snow starts to melt; he helps pump the water out of elders basements.I remember a few years back he got up and rode around 3-4 am because one of his friends parents' basement was flooded with water, amlmost 3ft deep. He is selfless, generous, helpful and overall he's the kindest man you'll ever get the chance of knowing. Being a hero is different for everyone. But, my dad is my a prime example of what i think a HERO is. When any of my sbiling and i need anything , he's there. He raised five children by himself. He showed us how to be selfless and respectful of other people. He taught us how to be kind and understanding. There isnt one person who could ever say my dad is a bad parent.
