Dermatology is a study of infections or skin disorders on the body. Dermatologists are known to be treating skin disorders and infections on the human body (Department of Defense, July 20, 2015). Dermatologists tend to have certain requirements for the job, have advantages, do certain tasks, and have disadvantages.
Dermatologists have to go to medical school for 4 years, have a bachelor's degree, and more advanced degrees. Some other qualifications are post graduate education, internship, and residency (InfoBase Learning, 2015). Licensure and or Certifications for Dermatology are M.D., D.O., Surgeon are earned by going to Medical school and going to Dermatology classes. The general knowledge also needed for Dermatology is Medicine and Dentistry, Biology, Psychology, English, and customer and personal service (Department of Defense, July 20, 2015).
Dermatologists, upon earning their medical doctrine, Dermatologists earn between $100,000 to $500,000 a year, which is a huge advantage. Dermatologists also have other advantages such as that the jobs in recent demand.
