In today’s world this is actually possible; this is called a “Designer Baby,” The term Designer babies, pretty much speaks for itself. This process basically allows a human being to pick out different traits that they feel is necessary for them to have the perfect baby. Designer babies allow the parent to basically pick what they feel their child should look like. STOP! This should be all in God's hand. The use of Designer Babies should not be allowed. Which leaves some to think what would happen to those babies who may have not had the opportunity or privilege as being born with qualities that are so superior. In the world we live in today they would most likely be discriminated against, or treated unfairly. For example, what if these babies were competing against one another Designer vs. Normal baby for a job of their choice, being that this designer baby may have every aspect and quality that the normal non designed baby may not have, which means the designer baby would obliviously get the job. In result, this would leave the normal baby having to accept a low income job. Although, it should be it should be the decision of the child to determine what they want to do with or in their life and how they work for it however, it doesn’t matter in the world we live in today. Dr. Steinberg gave a valid point however there is no valid comparison between designer babies, nose jobs, and plastic surgery. Plastic surgery is most definitely up to that person who wants to change something about their selves. However, in the case of designer babies the choice is made by the parents, maybe the look chose by the parents is not how the child wants to look. Of course, this would make the parents happy however a person has to have happiness within their selves first in order to be happy.
