Acts of bravery help make society a lot safer. Bravery helps others as well as yourself in many ways. That's why it is most definitely important to be brave. Desmond Doss, for example, showed a tremendous act of courage and bravery when he saves 75 men from being killed. Desmond, who was placed as a non-combatant in the war, risked his own life to save others. He saved 75 men, one at a time, while under fire. Without his tremendous act of bravery, many people would have died. Like, Desmond Doss, Irena Sendler risked her own life to help save others.
