When a teacher uses differentiated instruction in the classroom, they have to know their students strength and weaknesses.
Teachers that are able to implement this type of instruction are able to challenge all students but not making learning process to difficult or to easy.
The ultimate goal for the student is to become an independent learner in the classroom setting (Arndt & Rapp, 2012).

“Doing whatever it takes to maximize students’ learning instead of relaying on a one-size-fits-all, whole-class method of instruction.”
Differentiated Instruction should prepare students to be able to accomplish anything in their current classroom and the future lives with this type of instruction (Arndt & Rapp, 2012).
