1. If you grew up in a religion that centered around Christ, or currently espouse this belief system: Discuss the ways that you, as part of the religious majority, have privilege. For instance, as a person living in America, everyone knows the two biggest Christian holidays (Christmas and Easter), and can name traditions associated with them. Can you name two major holidays for any other religion, and their traditions (without googling them)? If you grew up as part of a religious minority in America (such as Atheism or Judaism or Buddhism), or currently espouse this belief system, discuss the ways that you experienced or currently experience being a religious minority.

It is composed of other religious belief systems such as Muslims which is the minority of the people. These people are marginalized, oppressed, and tortured by their systematic system (Ghessem, 2009). According to the article, Hinduism is the majority and the Muslim population is the minority. Muslims have been marginalized and oppressed by the majority due to political beliefs and other factors. The Muslim community has been punished by the Hinduism due to power and control of the minority group. Within their own cultures, they have their own sets of norms, prejudices, and values. Chapter 4 by (Diller, 2015), its comparison worldwide there of different cultures were others are otherized and people are confronting the same pattern of discrimination, prejudices, racism, marginalization and oppression. In the United States, minorities tend to suffer more than the majority the dominant culture.
