Hello my name is Adela Dhima. I am a student majoring in Management at George Mason University (GMU). As part of my curriculum, I am taking a diversity management course. The main purpose of this course is to equip students with knowledge and understanding on how to manage or deal with diversity in workplace environment. In this course, all students are assigned to complete “Understanding Others” essay. This assignment includes identifying a target group to which I do not belong, conducting at least 3 interviews with members of identified group, analyze information obtained, combine with material learned in class, and draw a conclusion.
