On the day of December 22,1971, the world saw a chance for less fortunate people to have an opportunity to thrive in the face of emergencies. A few years after the creation of Doctors Without Borders, the founders questioned whether to keep the method of guerilla doctors, which was just a group of doctors who went to places where they saw best needed their help, or to get organized to maximize helping efficiency by having a system set and ready for when disasters happened. This caused some conflict which caused some of the originals founders to break off and build their own organization. that was not as successful (Founding of MSF). Others have shown some concern for what this might mean for the spread of potentially stronger strains of diseases due to the increase of antibiotics. MSF assures the people looking into their organization that they have safety measures in places to avoid that from happening (FAQ). In regards to how the organization helps society, it allows for everyone to get the type of care that they need regardless of the situation they may find themselves, in whether it be a war zone or an area suffering from a mass epidemic Doctors without borders helps everyone to the best of their ability. They do occasionally have problems with countries in war zones as governments might not allow people in even for something like medical care, but again they do what they can to help where the need is greatest.
