Document Analysis on the Articles of Confederation.
During the start of America, when the country was just beginning to learn how to run things, the government created the Articles of Confederation to establish rules for how the country should run after declaring independence from Great Britain. It also established an alliance between the 13 colonies. Created by a delegate from the state of Delaware, John Dickinson, John was the main writer behind the Articles of Confederation along with help from representatives from other colonies. The document was addressed to the 13 colonies in hopes that they would accept it. The Articles of Confederation were ratified by the states on March 1st, 1781, which is 6 years before the creation
