Dual citizenship is also known as multiple citizenship, meaning a person is regarded as a citizen of more than one state under the laws of those states. For example you can be a citizen of the United States and also a citizen from England, therefore you will have double citizenship with the U.S. and the UK. Owning a second passport through dual citizenship in another country is an integral part of international diversification.
There are several benefits by having two nationalities however, there can also be some issues between the two countries laws and obligations. Benefits of dual citizenship are the benefits and privileges, two passports & property ownership.
Firstly, dual citizens are able to receive benefits and privileges offered by each country. An example would be, they are allowed to live and work freely in two countries, without needing a work permit or visa. Secondly, allowing to carry two passports and travel between the two countries with relative ease. It also guarantees right of entry to both countries, which can be especially important if you have family to visit, doing a business in either country or etc. Thirdly, on property ownership it gives the ability to own/purchase property in either or both countries.
