The exact causes of eczema are still unknown, but it can be effectively managed. It often looks uncomfortable, however, it is not in any way contagious and it cannot be spread from person to person. Eczema does run in families. Common misconceptions say that eczema is related to Staph infections but it is not correct. Vaseline also does not work like often stated just makes a goopy mess on the skin.
Symptoms
Symptoms will vary per person but can include one or multiple of the following conditions, red to brownish colored skin, colored patches, dry skin, cracked skin, raw skin, scaly and itchy, open lesions, fluids in or around rash, bumps.
