Edward Snowden is a former NSA and CIA employee, who leaked top secret information detailing of extensive internet and phone surveillance by American intelligence. Snowden became very famous from what his done; he gained many followers and respect of many citizens. He was born in North Carolina in 1983, and raised in Elizabeth City. Everyone in his family works for the Federal Government, and he was the brightest one in the family by scoring above 145 on two separate IQ test. His dad described him as a sensitive, deep thinker and caring young man. At a young age, he suffered from Mononucleosis causing him to drop out of high school.
