Any person aged 65 and older may be victims of elder abuse, regardless of economic, society, ethnic or cultural setting. Victim come from all walkways of life; they may be male or female; frail or in beneficial health. The most typical victim is reported to be a female of average age of 72, living with the insult. Most surveys indicate that adult females are more commonly victims than men. Women often suffer physical abuse and are almost always the victims of sexual misuse. Male are more likely to hold out to others, whereas adult females are more likely to endure alone, increasing their risk for self-neglect (Fulmer, T.2008). The second question who’s the abuser?
