Elvis Presley was found dead on August 16th, 1977 at the seemingly young age of 42. But some people have come to think ‘’or did he?’’. Ever since that day, more and more theories have been created that Elvis isn’t really dead and he instead faked his demise. The theories range from very plausible to some that seem impossible. Although many of Elvis’s fans are convinced he faked his death, there is more viable evidence that proves he did not because all of the theories created by fans are able to be debunked due to lack of real evidence. After Elvis was found unconscious on the bathroom floor of his Memphis home, Graceland, he was rushed to Baptist Memorial Hospital in the feeble attempt to resuscitate him. He abused them heavily up until the time of his death, as his autopsy showed 10 different pharmaceutical drugs found in his system. In the later years of his life he was almost unable to function without them, so his doctor Dr. George Nichopoulos would try to either get him unhooked from them, give him placebos, or give him the least deadly ones available to keep him functioning for shows and life in general.
