Elvis presley was known as “The King of Rock.”Elvis was born on january 8, 1935. He lived in a two bedroom house with his mom and dad. As a kid Elvis had to help his parents out with finances. Elvis started showing interest in music when he was really young. In 7th and 8th grade he started to bring his guitar too school and play in the basement of the school. Or he played to anyone that really wanted to listen. Once at school he was in a Music Arts class and he had a C in that class. His teacher once told him that he had no singing ability whatsoever.
