My journey in English 102 has been a humbling experience. Before I enrolled in this course, I thought my writing was exceptional. However, throughout the course of my journey, I discovered that I had much to learn about writing before I could call myself a great writer. Without the guidance of my English 102 instructor, I would not have blossomed into the writer I am today. During the beginning of my journey in English 102, I noticed that I was unaware of the common mistakes that occurred in my writings. My English 102 instructor, Dr. Green, was helpful because she my errors, but she never criticized me for being ignorant to the flaws in my writing.
