Siddhartha is a novel by German author Hermann Hesse. It was first published in 1921 in the United States. The Protagonist and Antagonist is Siddhartha, a young Brahmin, who is unsatisfied with his life despite being surrounded by luxuries and attention for he suspects that love from family and friends won’t always keep him happy, so he goes in search of answers about himself and his world.
