My Responsibility to America As American citizens we all have responsibilities to make our country the best that it can be. Without us our country would just be an idea, a dream, of a place where we can be free to be who we are and free to carry out what we believe to be right. We should do as much for our country as it does for us. I can promise that I will try to the best of my ability to be loyal to America, make this beautiful country as safe and prosperous as I alone can, and to never take my life here for granted. We always hear about people who wish for America’s downfall, these people are the type who will try to tear us down because they are afraid. These types of people will count on and wish for a citizen of this country to help carry out their plans so that it has a higher chance of success. I will study hard in school, graduate college, get a job, or maybe even go to the military so that I can either pay taxes to help fund this country or serve and protect it. When I see someone committing a crime I will report them and try to see that they’re locked away so that the streets are a little safer for the people. Maybe one day I may even become a politician and try to make life simple and nice for all the other citizens. Hopefully by achieving just a few of these things i can help this country and its people.
