Among those who remained in Afghanistan, there was an increase in mothers and children begging on the streets as the loss of vital income reduced many families to the margin of survival. Islamic religion explains that women can work outside at home or not. Islam explains everything that is relating of people on the ground especially the holy Quran. There is no ruling against women’s working, neither in Qur’an nor in Prophet Muhammad’s sayings. Once a woman gets married, it is her husband’s responsibility to cover her expenses. The woman has also some duties to her husband. She is responsible with fulfillment of them. If she implements these responsibilities and gets her husband’s permission to work, then she can work. However there are some conditions to do so, her job should be permitted in Islam and her working environment should be appropriate for a Muslim woman. Again, Islam doesn’t oblige women to work. Islam supplies women with the comfort they need in their homes by helping the role of providing subsistence for the household to husbands. A women in Islam, if she wishes to work she can work - There is no text in the Qur’an or the authentic Hadith which prevents or makes it prohibited for a woman to do
