Opening statement /thesis: Marijuana, overused prescription drugs and laws seems to be the most talked about conversation these days. However I think marijuana should be legal in all states for medical and recreational purposes. The United States is made up of three branches of government. The three branches are the legislative branch, the judicial branch, and the executive branch, each branch have an important job to do when it comes to our judicial system. The legislative branch makes the laws. The executive branch carries out the laws. The judicial branch evaluates the laws. In this paper we will be discussing how the three branches of government view drug laws.

Judicial Branch
Main ideals: The Supreme Court has decided to abide by the Texas banned to keep marijuana illegal. Supportive details:
a. The Supreme Court stand by their decision under the federal laws to view marijuana as an illegal drug.
b. Although this substance is used to treat many different diseases, according to the federal it is illegal to use it in many States.
Summary: In conclusion, when it comes to drug laws and how each branch operates, all three branches have spoken, and it looks like they are for implementing, enforcing, and evaluating our drug laws. However all drugs are not bad drugs and it should not be treated as if it is. Many people depend and rely upon marijuana and prescription drugs. The way I see it lawmaker must continue to work hard and come up with laws that will combat all kinds of drugs because drugs are here and we need them to help people with illness. This simply means that we live in nations where many abuses good things and make them to be bad. However, Medical Marijuana and prescription drugs should be legalized in all States to help others; we just need to come up with more effective ways to use
