Euthanasia: An Ethical Dilemma Euthanasia is simply defined as assisting or enabling an individual to end life or move on, letting a person end his/her misery, or permitting humane life ending practices. From a vegetative perspective, euthanasia can be a good thing if the individual does not have quality of life. In addition, it is a good practice if the individual is ready to let go or prefers ending his/her life through humane practices.
