Therefore, a nurse should respect the way a Muslim believer views their body and thus it would be unethical to push for a treatment that goes against the patient’s wishes due to respect for autonomy. For a Christian, it is important to engage prayer and worship at the time of healing if requested by a patient. Just as Christians rely on God to live and in time of need, Muslims too should have the same freedom in the health care facility. As such, the nurse should utilize biomedical treatments, medication, and cooperation of God’s grace for healing and relief.
