To obtain buy-in at a lateral level, the approach should be that continuing education will enhance skill sets and ease daily activities by addressing reoccurring short comings (Retsas, 1999). These strategies should include tactics to address time management in which staff members would be allocated time to learn these approaches. In addition, appropriate time allocation should be provided to staff members to attend training and practice teachings to improve quality outcome (Retsas, 1999). Status- post completing evidenced based teachings team members should be evaluated on an ongoing basis to assess their willingness to commit to continual use of learned information (Retsas, 1999).
