Every year there is many people that spend their time and money watching movies, listening to music, and playing the newest video games. Even though, people often find themselves paying outrageous amount of money for the entertainment industry today they continue to pay those prices for social status reasons. By seeing these entertainment films or listening to this music, it allows society to agree or disagree upon certain aspects of each individual's thoughts and ideas and helps to find an explanation that can be understood by others in society that may enjoy or dislike that certain production, it is social interaction in a micro spectrum of society. This can definitely cut into social status and how people view others according to income. People often buy the new video game so by nature everyone else does not want to be left out so they sometimes make financial sacrifices to ensure that their social status will not lower to the lack of the newest trend in the video game industry. Sociology makes us love entertainment, disregarding everything around what is actually going on in the outside of that particular production, it is way for people to connect of various levels and it brings society in for feelings that can be shared, a social paradigm that is beneficial to this is symbolic interactions as it take over and people are all together for that tiny or extended period of time it is used as an escape from everything else that is happening in the world today. As Max Weber social interaction is vital in a society helps us understand the purpose of the entertainment industry and all the positives that come from having symbolic interactions that connect people. In conclusion, the entertainment industry makes billions of dollars not only for the product that they put out to society, but the interactions that people often come across by accident or lies the hidden message for half the reason they are actually choosing to listen, watch, or play with this type of social
