The Americans for the Art are a great example of an interest group whose mission is to encourage millions of people to join their group in support of the arts and arts education around the country. They want to educate and inform the public and policymakers about the social significance and positive impact the arts have on our daily lives and the nation. The members of the group hope to a better environment where the arts can thrive, generate resources for the arts and arts education, build more awareness for the group and the value of art. They help support a number causes such as the Arts and Health which through the use arts they can assist people going through depression and anxiety which has been proven to not only benefit patients but also help contain healthcare costs.
