Ponyboy has had conflict but how does this make the story have suspence? The book The Oursiders by S.E. Hinton. Is about in the book the Outsider one of the main charcter, Ponyboy has some conflicting moments. In the book they say that they been in and out of trouble with the law such as ponyboy falling in trouble with the death of a boy. He also got in trouble with his family by having the lost of his parents so his older brother is resposiable for ponyboy and Soda which cause them to have conflict. Last he has some troubles with friends and have conflict with them that get him into trouble with the law. Some of the main chacter include Ponyboy, Jonny, Dally and Cherry. In which Ponyboy has been through multiple tribulation. Which leads to conflicts such as family, friends and the laws.
In the three conflicts Ponyboy goes through one of the tougher one such as his family. In the book ponyboy has great examples of going through family struggles. Such as when Ponyboy says “You dont yell at him!” I shouted. Darry wheeled around and slapped me so hard that it knocked me against the door.” (Hinton pg 50). Most people think that sense Ponyboy was a Greaser then that makes him a tagret for getting involed with the law in a negtative way. In this qoute fro the book Jonny states “I killed him”. Bob, the handsome Soc was lying there in the moonlight , doubled up and still.” ( Hinton pg 56) So this mean that sense Jonny killed the boy he could get in bigger trouble. At the same time that mean that Ponyboy was at the scene which makes hi a vitiam which he can srill get in trobule with the law. Jonny was the one who commited the crime which this means that Ponyboy and Jonny’s relationship can either grow stronger or farther apart. Which leads to the next
