Data Analysis This literature review focused on the teen population that reside within urban communities. Urban environments are flooded with high crime rates and deplorable conditions that cause a variety of effects on adolescents. These factors along with different types of interventions programs were analyzed.
Assumption of the Study Prior to conducting research, it was assumed that there would be a variety of articles that focused on the key terms and phrases. It was also assumed that there were a large number of ineffective intervention and prevention programs for the target population. It was predicted that variables that influenced the studies would have a variety of correlations that were overlooked.
Limitation of the Study The limitation to conducting this literature review is that one must rely on the data, results, and finding of others. One is forced to trust the research and interpretation skills of others. Data that is written is all that is accessible, and there is no way to distinguish if information was excluded unless it is stated. Exploratory research isn’t useful for decision-making by
