Neighbors of mine the “Jones family, had a recent death in the family, the family was gathering after the funeral to talk about how to go forward with their dads daily living, Mr. Jones was 93 and had recently lost his wife suddenly. Within a week Mr. Jones had fallen 3 times within the first week of the move. He was unfamiliar with his surroundings coupled with the loss of his wife he fell into a deep depression. The daughter found that her home was not well lite for someone in there 90’s along with the many throw rugs on the floor; the safe home they sent him too was a death trap. The third fall Mr. Jones experienced was a really bad fall, he had gotten up in the middle of the night and was disorientated, the family sleeping had no idea that the fall had taken place. Mr. Jones was unable to get up and spent a few hours in agony. In the morning, Mr. Jones was rushed to the hospital where it was confirmed that he had broken his hip, and now was unable to return to the family home. While in the hospital, the family came together again along with hospital staff to again decide the fate of their beloved family member, now with professional help the choice was made to have Mr. Jones go to a care facility, where he would be looked after 24 hours a day. The Jones family in every sense, had good intentions for there dad, they wanted only the best for him, and having him move in with them they thought it was the best choice for him, and
