Abstract
This paper is based on genetic and reproductive science and their benefits and limitations regarding individuals, families, and society. The paper covers the screening and treatment for diabetes and what methods are used to prevent it development. The paper also contains information regarding In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and its benefits for individuals and families. The use stems cells and its advantages and disadvantages are also mentioned.

The limitations for reproductive science for individuals are the possibility of the psychological issues of the individual. It is believed that a single person who decides to have a baby is suffering from loneliness and wants to have a baby to give companionship. The stress of raising a child alone is stressful and can cause an issue with the welfare of the child (Hunfeld, Passchier, Bolt, & Buijsen, 2004).
The benefits of reproductive science for families are the even with couples that have male infertility issues, the possibility of conceiving is greater due to intra-cytoplasm sperm injections (Advantages, 2015). The limitations for reproductive science for families are that social societies, friends, and even family member may reject them due to the fact that they did know procreate the “traditional” way, they will fall upon extreme financial burdens, and the stress of the procedure will make it hard for them to bond with the child (Fasouliotis & Schenker, 1999).
The benefit of reproductive science for society is the use of stems cells. Stem cells are utilized to cure various types of diseases, which will result in massive amounts of live saved.
