Between 1890 and 1916, there were a lot of issues being discussed and problems that needed to be fixed, most of them included working conditions and the need for higher wages. Also during this time, the United Sates endured a time where floods of immigrants came to America to start a new life and there was not enough room for everyone causing these immigrants and the poor working class to live in horrible conditions such as dirty crowded slums where disease was high.
