Fred Hampton, a young activist, fought for better conditions for the African-American community by leading rallies and giving powerful speeches; however, FBI sent police officers to unlawfully murder Fred Hampton in his bed. The FBI plotted the most important BPP members to be killed. This affected thousands of people with an event not to be forgotten. Fred Hampton was raised in Illinois and became committed to the civil rights movement in his early life.
