Romeo has known Friar Lawrence for a Along time, and Romeo trusts him. He is a seemingly trustworthy? person because he is a Friar. This is partly why he is at fault for the death of Romeo and Juliet. When Romeo asks Friar Laurence to marry him and Juliet, the Friar should have said, "No, not yet.", but he didn't.
