They are known as protectors and healers of the body. There are many different ways to describe what a nurse is and what a nurse does. A nurse is not just a person who puts an IV in and passes out medicine. Being a nurse is much more than that. To be more specific, a nurse is a person who has heart, and is able to give each and every patient the compassion and care that they need in order to heal from whatever their situation may be.
