My top 5 strengths based on the VIA Survey: Fairness, Honesty, Humility, Leadership, and Perseverance.
The VIA category that best represents my greatest character strength is Justice.
My reason for choosing Justice is because I think I try to treat people fairly and keep in mind that all people do not get treated equally. No matter how big or small the task, I like to make sure that people are given a chance to speak and tell how they see things. To add, I try not to judge people and not have a natural favoritism towards people who are more like me.
Last semester I learned many things in Ethics and Values. I think this course opened my eyes in many ways, and I began to see the world, my community, in a new way. I see that there are many situations that people experience on a daily basis that are unfair, and I try to watchful of this in social situations, and self- reflect on a regular basis, so that I am a lesser part of the problem.
3. Weakness- I do not find myself to a very creative person, and I often second guess myself.

Three strengths I would seek in other team members are Executing, Influencing, and Strategic Thinking. I would seek teammates with these specific strengths because they are something that I should work on and may not be strong in these areas. Peter Northouse writes in Introduction to Leadership that teams work best when all four domains of leadership strength are represented on their teams (North, 2015, pg. 55). To be most successful, I would try my best to find the teammates that best fulfill each of these specific needs. When assembling an effective team, it is important to remember that when we allow the group members to actively use their strengths, they are said to become more engaged and feel comfortable “doing what they do best” (Northouse,
