What is identity? The real definition of identity is “The fact of being who or what a person or thing is.” The definition to me is, the characteristics that make you up, or show who you are. Everyone has their own identity and that’s what makes that person their own person. No one could ever steal your identity.
The student's in the beginning of the movie had an identity of gang violence, none of them caring if they even graduated, only worrying about protecting their territory. They got that identity because they never wanted to do anything at school, would get into fights, believing their race was superior to everyone else's.
