I have moved around a lot with the military and it is sometimes hard to remember the fun you had in each home so over the past few years we have started to add to a time capsule after every move. When we finally settle we will open the capsule and will recollect all past moves. I have learned that it is hard to keep your identity being a military family so it is important to have traditions to take with you. There are also very traditional gender roles in my military culture. My father is the seen as the main wage earner in the family while my Mother is in charge of the children and all household chores. The reason why there are traditional gender roles in the military is because the husband is often deployed. Although my family and I are very religious and because of this we can all relate better to one another. In my opinion religion is the most important part of keeping a family together. Every Sunday we go to church together and then we have dinner as a family and share our week events. We are now able to communicate better because of the repition of going to church and eating together. It can be hard to relate to one another because of our military culture because of the way the military expects everyone to be indepdent and not
